GDDR Memory Enabling AI and High Performance Compute (S9968)
Abstract: This discussion will identify the challenges of the GPU/DRAM bandwidth in high performance systems. Graphics memory is a key differentiator in solving these challenges in applications like AI, from the Datacenter to the Smart Edge. Micron collaboration with leaders in AI and graphics over the past generations has delivered a proven track record of performance and bandwidth. This talk will compare discrete GDDR Memory and High Bandwidth Memory (HBM), to identify solution space for these options.
